restaurant branding
The goal of this project was to identify a restaurant or culinary service with subpar branding and to redesign it with improved menus, stationery, and advertisements. An additional twist to this challenge was to introduce new, successful branding while still maintaining the core aspects or appeal of the original branding. I selected Voodoo Doughnuts and rebranded it as Blackmagic Donuts. This involved creating new imagery based on the occult, supernatural appeal of the existing store and writing copy influenced by its wry, oddball sense of humor.
